DSPNT

Founded in 1998 by a group of parents looking for resources for their loved ones with Down syndrome, DSPNT officially became a 501c3 organization in 2008.  We have stayed true to our original focus of supporting individuals with Down syndrome, their families and caregivers in achieving the universally desired goals of self-fulfillment, pride in one's achievements, inclusion in the community, and reaching one's fullest potential through social and educational activities.

DSPNT serves families in North Texas (Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Parker, and Wise counties) through all stages of life - from diagnosis through adulthood.

Our mission is to provide support to individuals with Down syndrome and their families through awareness and engagement, advocacy and outreach, education, and the exchange of ideas and experiences.

321 SOCIETY

The mission of the 321 Society is to bring together individuals with Down syndrome and young business and community professionals in a collaborative effort to foster leadership, mentorship, and community engagement. Members of the 321 Society will participate in community presentations to promote awareness and advocacy for Down syndrome. Additionally, they will organize two annual events for teens and adults with Down syndrome. Modeled after a junior board, the 321 Society serves as a supportive and dynamic extension of the DSPNT board.
