3-21 Classroom Kits
Given out during October - which is Down Syndrome Awareness Month - and around World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st), our 3-21 Connection Kits are filled with engaging tools like facts and vocabulary sheets, a kindness challenge, a local DSPNT advocate profile, an inclusion-themed book, and fun giveaways for your class. We are only able to provide classroom kits within our service areas of Tarrant, Johnson, Parker, Hood and Denton counties. To receive a kit, email CLASSROOM.
READ FOR INCLUSION
You can invite a staff member and self-advocate (adult with Down syndrome) to read to your classroom or we can send you the book to read. This program shares age-appropriate information with students about inclusion, acceptance, and compassion. We have a list of suggested readings to choose from. To schedule a Read for Inclusion, email READ.
